The path , the obstacle and the journey
In a land steeped in the history of ancient cultures and the mysteries of the Orient, I grew up in a small town in Lebanon. Tucked away at the base of a majestic mountain, I felt protected from the turmoil and chaos that so often plagued the region. It was there that I first learned to listen to my surroundings, tune into my inner world, and answer the calling of the universe.
My journey as a healer initially began with a pursuit of modern knowledge. This path took me away from the whispers of the wind and the flow of the mountains, driving me deep into the world of science. Eventually, I became an MD—a physician in the modern sense, relying on technology, rigid processes, and hard facts to drive my decisions.
But something was missing. The wind kept whispering, and I could not ignore it.
I moved to the United States, where I stepped away from clinical practice and threw myself into research, hoping the laboratory would satisfy that inner longing. Yet, after two years of research in the cutting-edge realms of genetics and stem cells, the emptiness remained. The wind whispered again.
I channeled my energy into every corner of the modern medical world: biopharmaceuticals, tissue banking, organ recovery, hospital administration, and quality management. If it existed in the medical field, I likely did it. Through this extensive journey, I finally understood the limitations of the purely scientific mind. Modern medicine absolutely has its place, but it is only a small piece of a much larger puzzle. To truly answer the questions whispering within me, I had to look outside the medical box.
While navigating the corporate world, a quiet curiosity began driving me in a new direction. It started simply: I was given a bottle of tea tree oil. My drive to understand it led me down a rabbit hole of aromatherapy, eventually earning a certification. Soon after, I was introduced to yoga. What began as a single community class evolved into a teacher training.
Though I initially sought only self-discovery, during my training I unearthed a buried gift: an intuitive, natural ability to guide meditations. I studied it extensively, eventually becoming a meditation instructor for several studios, expanding my practice into Pranayama, Yin, and Restorative yoga.
Then, the wind called again. This time, it wasn’t a whisper of change, but of remembrance. It called me back to that house at the base of the mountain, to the river that laughed and cried with the seasons of my life, and to the land that had cradled me. The earth was pulling me toward an art often stifled by a skeptical world. The herbs were talking, and I listened.
I immersed myself in traditional herbalism, moving from one certification and training to the next. A balm here, a tincture there, a sick friend who found relief, a child who was soothed.
And here I am today. Equipped with the precise knowledge of modern medicine, the wisdom of traditional herbalism, and the grounding spirit of yoga, I choose to honor ancient traditions through the lens of a discerning, modern mind.
My Goal
My universal calling is simple: To awaken and to heal.
I want to meet you in your entirety—as a body, a mind, and a soul. Separate but undivided; fragmented but harmonized.
Through this work, my hope is to awaken the healer within you, bringing forth your own sweet remembrance of the infinite within you.
My Promise
My promise to you is my utter devotion to your being.
I promise to listen, to guide you, and to be your companion on this journey you have courageously started. I will channel every ounce of knowledge I have accrued—blending it with compassion and intuition—to hold your hand on this road to your inner world.
While the path may not always be easy, nor will it be short, I assure you that it will be deeply worth it. Because you are worth it.
